UMass Football News--October 7th, 2017

BYU lost to Boise State last night 24-7. The Cougars continue to be winless in FBS games. We feel your pain BYU fans.

It was also a painful evening for UConn who lost to Memphis 31-70. The Huskies hung with Memphis for about 25 minutes and then gave up two TD's late in the second quarter (sound familiar?). After that, it was all Memphis. UConn is also winless in FBS with a comeback win over Holy Cross their only victory.

Under Dog Dynasty previews today's Appalachian State-New Mexico State game.

New Mexico State will be going Independent in 2018. So far, A.D. Ryan Bamford has not scheduled the Aggies as an opponent for UMass. It's a long trip out to New Mexico. The Aggies had plane trouble getting to Appalachian State.
