Tampa Bay 9 has a recruiting offer summary for the Bay area. UMass currently has four active offers.

Speaking of recruiting Boston college received a verbal from Massachusetts four-star LB recruit Conner Strachan. The Eagles are having an excellent year in Bay State recruiting.

Speaking of Boston College, they need some recruits as the Orlando Sentinel has the Eagles ranked #112 in the nation for 2013. That's last in the ACC and below most MAC teams (Buffalo is # 108).

Speaking of the Eagles and the ACC, the Boston College blog "BC Interruption" says the ACC's eight game schedule does not work well in the Heights. A four game contract with the Minutemen would solve the Eagles' problems. Low travel costs and local interest would make it a no brainer.
