Recruiting #11 Ke'Mon Bailey

Considering UMass is Ke'Mon Bailey a 6-0 180 RB from Richmond VA who will play WR in college. Bailey runs a 4.5 40 and benches 325. Rivals bio here .

He will take a recruiting visit to UMass on 1/20/06. Also being recruited by Kansas State, Michigan, Penn State, Purdue, Temple and JMU.

Hope he chooses UMass. Bailey will get a lot more playing time at UMass than he would at Penn State or Michigan.

I'm hoping the recruiting is slow due to the fact that we are pretty deep(except fot O-linemen)and only lose 6 or 7 starters so maybe Brown
is gambling a bit to land some 1,2 or even 3 star players this year. Based on some of the potentials, that looks like it may be true. I say go for it. maybe we get lucky for a change.

Recruiting will be interesting this year. We are pretty stacked on offense except for OL as you pointed out.

On defense, we also need DT (as does everybody). Brown brought in an excellent class last year. Sean Smalls may have been the top rated player signed in I-AA.

Loosing both senior OT in preseason really hurt UMass in '05. We need more bodies on the OL.

Another good recruiting class should insure some good results at UMass for a couple of years.
