Blog News --- 2010 Road Trip II

Mrs Blog and I will be on vacation for the next ten days. We are leaving for Bird-in-Hand, PA this morning. Mrs. Blog will be in her shop-till-she-drops mode in the heart of Lancaster County.

We do have plans to swing over to the Towson game on Saturday.

Then we will be changing base camp and moving to North Conway NH. The Fryeburg Fair is right across the river.

I will try to keep the Blog going as long as I have intertube access. I managed to brick Mrs. Blog's Asus netbook by running a Linux update that screwed up the boot sequence for both Windows and Ubuntu. So, until I figure out how to fix that, I'll be relying on my ancient laptop. Should the Blog go silent, you'll know I'm having computer problems and I'll be back up as soon as possible.

Hopefully, see everyone tomorrow from Bird-in-Hand.

UMass Football Blog News--August 17th, 2010

Dear readers, Mrs Blog and I are taking a late summer vacation to Durango, CO. We're going to be riding some narrow gauge railroads, taking in some National parks and other places in Colorado and New Mexico. We'll be out west for eight days.

As usual, I will try to keep the Blog going, as long as I have a internet connection. If there are no updates, then you know I've fallen off the grid and the Blog will be back in action on 25th.

Because of the time difference, blog updates will probable be later in the day. A couple of days we have early morning activities and there might be little or no activity on the blog until evening.

UPDATE: Good evening from Durango. Looks like the UMass football blog will be able to publish most days.

Fourth of July 2010

Mrs. Blog and I would like to wish all UMass friends, Blog readers, and football family a "Happy Fourth of July!"

And a Happy Birthday to the United State of America, the world's oldest (and still the best), constitutional republic.

Blog News--04/21/10

Mrs. Blog and I will be taking a long weekend up in Maine starting tomorrow. Previously, the place we are staying did not have WiFi. This year, their website says "WiFi in selected areas". If I have some downtime and a signal, I'll try to update the Blog once or twice. If not, I'll be back on Sunday evening and will resume regular publishing at that time.

Everyone behave themselves until that time :)

Dear readers, the UMass Football Blog will not publish again until Saturday, March 20th.

I'll be at Kitt Peak National Observatory AOP for my second observing session.
