Today is UMass Band Day, which is always fun. The weather will be cool, but sunny and it will be a great day to see UMass play. Hopefully the Minutemen running backs are healthier and we'll see some good results today.
We need a win today because the rest of the 2024 schedule is heavy. UMass plays two SEC teams on the road. The Minutemen also play bowl-bound Liberty and UConn for the Group-of-Five segment. UMass should be a substantial underdog for those games. However, winless Kennesaw State upset Liberty and UMass-UConn is a rivalry game. Hope springs eternal.
I'll be cheering for the Minutemen. Go UMass!!
