I watched the on-line press conference for Coach Brown last evening. He said UMass is home and he enjoys a challenge (he'll be getting one with the Minutemen). Brown said he was not going to watch tape from last season. He focused on the future.
Brown seem to say he was going to hit the transfer portal to fill in some immediate gaps in the roster.On defense UMass needs linebackers, defensive ends and a pass rush specialist. UMass averaged less than one sack/game in 2021.
Brown said he would keep Alex Miller as offensive line coach. No decision on the other coaches yet.
