Jack Magdis, a 6-2 225 OLB from Worcester Academy in MA is currently a freshman on the UMass roster.
Was offered walk-on opportunities at Hawaii and Syracuse.
Inside the Loud House also has a post on Magdis walking on at Syracuse.
One of the articles mentions the Orange having a lot of LB's on the roster. That is not the case in Amherst and Magdis should have an excellent chance to win a scholarship and lots of playing time with the Minutemen.
