UMass Football News--June 6th, 2019

Mike Traini of "Fight Massachusetts" has some news and notes. He reports on 2019 game kickoff times and two UMass late 2019 commits are now rated three stars by 247Sports.

That pushes the Minutemen 2019 recruiting class rank to #113 and it includes 13 three-star players. Whipple's last recruiting class had six three-stars and two of them ended up not staying/arriving.

Boston College opens its 2019 season with Virginia Tech, then plays Richmond (4-7), Kansas (2-10) and Rutgers (2-10). The Eagles beat Virginia Tech last year and if they do it again, could start the season 4-0. BC would only have to win two more games after Sept 21st to be bowl eligible.
