Running the ball is something UMass has done poorly since the move to FBS. Not being able to run the ball against Power Five schools is not remarkable, but UMass has not been able to run over Group-of-Five schools that make up the majority of our schedule either. The one game that stands out is on November 27, 2015 in Marquis Young's freshman year we rang up 295 yards rushing against Buffalo.
