My News 13 has a post on UMass legend Rene Ingolia's being a police detective during the week and an ESPN announcer on weekends.

In a game I watched, Duquesne ran over Robert Morris 48-24.

Boston College, playing without injured A.J. Dillon, defeated Louisville 38-20.

Georgia Southern edged Texas state 15-13.

Charlotte blasted Western Kentucky 40-14 to run their record to 3-3 overall and 2-1 in Conference USA,

Ohio lost to Northern Illinois 24-21.

Louisiana Monroe ran all over favored Coastal Carolina 45-20. The Chants were without starting QB Kilton Anderson. The article says he should be available for the UMass game.

UConn had a bye

Liberty surprised Neal Brown's 5-1 Trojans 22-16. Troy was playing without their starting QB Kaleb Barker and that slowed Troy's usually high-powered offense.

BYU found its offense in a 49-23 win over Hawaii.

The Washington Post it was a nightmare in Death Valley for Georgia.

Quote from the above article "a big, loud subset of 102,321 onlookers serenades the losing visitor with a heartwarming chant about how that visitor ought to perform a carnal act upon the cherished tiger mascot."

Oh, if you missed it, Nebraska blew a 10-point lead and fell to 0-6 for the first time in its program history.
