Well, it was a long slippery, tiring ride back to New Hampshire after the UMass hoop game last night, but it was worth it.

OT, but Mid-Major Madness said the game lived up to the hype.

Victor Cruz got a rousing welcome from the capacity crowd. The atmosphere at Mullins was like the old days.

Victor recently had his partnership with Time Warner Cable extended.

Also in the house was Shannon James. James, you will remember, was a two-time All-American.

Hopefully, some football recruits were there too.

Hustle Belt also looks at who had the best defensive line the MAC in 2013. It's hard to evaluate the UMass defense for last fall because the offense was so bad. However, one thing the Minutemen defense did poorly was rush the quarterback. We were at the bottom of the league and the nation in sacks.
