Young Minutemen. UMass had 16 out of 53 players at Rutgers who were playing their first ever game for the Minutemen. That's 30.1%. In addition, there were a number of players like
Brian Abosi (two career appearances) and
Melvin Hill (one career appearance) who had minimal playing time prior to Saturday.
