UMass Football News--August 19th, 2017

Seven days until the 2017 season! Man, I hope we get some breaks and some wins this year. We've certainly paid our dues: fans, players administrators. This ain't been easy on all of us.

Old Dominion led Conference USA in rushing last year; they're planning on doing it again this year. The Monarchs ran for 274 yards and 5.8 yards/carry against the Minutemen last year. Old Dominion held the ball for twelve minutes more than UMass did.

The Daily Press says despite not having picked a QB yet, Old Dominion is confident.

The Virginia Pilot thinks  Blake LaRussa will be the Monarchs starter.
