Going to Chattanooga?

The UMass Alumni have a travel package here .

If you're willing to just fly and stay, you can do the trip for substantially less .

AAA's site is here . If you are willing to make a connection two people can fly round trip from Manchester, NH for as low as 395/person.

Travelocity's site also gives flight and motel packages about $400 less than the Alumni package.

If you are willing to give up direct flights, you can cut big $$$ off the cost of the trip.

UPDATE: We were told downtown Chatty is sold out. We were able to get reservations farther out. If you are thinking of going. Make a command decision and make your reservations. You can always cancel. Then work on your flight.

Great game Montana!

I haven't done any tributes to opposing teams so far during this playoff run , but the Grizz deserve one.

Anytime you make a run this deep into the playoffs, you've got a great team.

Congratulations to the Grizz for the hospitality and the atmosphere. It's tough that one team ends the season with a loss.

Baylark runs over Montana!!!

Steve Baylark rumbled for 169 yards on the ground and added 76 yards in receptions to run down the Grizz.

We're----including me, going to Chattanooga .

Nothing on the Montana site yet.

UPDATE: I subscribe to Eric Gemunder's I-AA e-mail weekly newsletter. Just opened it. He predicts a huge Montana win...

Let's go UMass!

UMass is banged up. We're playing in a far place with few friends.

I hope the UMass Football team plays well and continues on with what they've built.

I'm with 'em win or loose.

Courage and perseverance have a magical talisman, before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish into air.

UMass-UNH playoff images

As usual, right click on the image and Blogger displays a larger view.

I was struggling with a dieing battery at the end of the game. Don't have many images of the second half. My point and shoot did not have enough lens to freeze action shots in low light. The wide frame shots are better, but because of the low battery, it took a long time to cycle.

I could not have taken any images of UNH's last drive anyway-----I was too nervous. :)
