Reports say the Mountain West is looking at Toledo and NIU as replacements after the PAC-12 grabbed five Mountain West members.
The Detroit News says seven Mountain West members will stick together.
The MAC is up for a new TV contract in 2027. It should be much better than the current deal. Toledo and NIU are not exactly huge media markets. The MAC could look to Delaware and Western Kentucky, who could be interested in a more compact travel league..
