Despite being in the MAC only four years, UMass appears in the MAC record book several times.
Blake Fronapfel is #2 all-time in single game passing yards (589 vs BGSU in 2014). It took a 7 overtime game for a Buffalo QB to throw for more yards than Blake.
Fronapfel is also #19 in single game passing attempts (61 in the same game as above).
Despite Fronapfel's heroics, UMass lost that game 47-42.
Ross Comis is tied for #1 in single game passing percentage (minimum 8 attempts). He went 8-8 against Notre Dame in 2015.
