UMass has two byes: Oct 21st after Penn State and November 11th after Merrimack. The bye after Penn State should help in recovery and bye after Merrimack comes before the last two games of the season and winning one of them would help morale.
The Minutemen should be competitive with New Mexico State, Miami (Ohio), Eastern Michigan, New Mexico, Arkansas State, Merrimack and UConn.
Toledo competes for the MAC crown nearly every year and Liberty should be (again) one to the Group-of-Five's top teams.
