UMass Football News--November 3rd, 2019

Well several things deserve recognition during yesterday's game. First, the UMass fans. At halftime, after the biggest miss-match in decades, nobody booed as the team left the field. Liberty had 49 points and 503 yards of offense at the half. That's stunning.

The second, is the UMMB and the 30+ high school bands put on a really great Bad Day show. Nice work.

Lastly, a tip of the hat to Liberty. The Flames not only played their third-string QB most of the second half, they spent the last 20 minutes of the game trying not to score. They almost did anyway, but you can't blame a third-string QB trying to run it in with a lot of green turf ahead of him.
