The grandson of legendary UMass coach Dick MacPherson, Mackey MacPherson, has been hired as running backs coach at Kent State.

Underdog Dynasty has a way-too-early 2018 Sun Belt Power Rankings. The Minutemen will play Coastal Carolina and Georgia Southern this year.

BYU has been trying to upgrade its technology for fan access. The UMass football game November 18th and the subsequent BYU-UMass hoops game were both involved.

UMass opens its 2018 season against FCS Duquesne. The Dukes just got a QB transfer from Florida Atlantic. He's a former Palm Beach Player-of-the-Year. Duquesne want 7-4 in 2017 including a 27-24 loss to Liberty.
