The recent lawsuit decision against the NCAA is going to change college sports even more that the unlimited transfer ruling.
If schools have to directly pay players, then except for the forty or so Power Five schools that can afford it, it will probably mean the end of Olympic sports (except as club sports) at colleges.
Title IX is another wild card. If UMass wants to pay football, men's basketball and men's hockey, does the athletic dept have to pay an equal amount to UMass' women's teams?
Will players still have to go to classes? If they're being paid, and their salary depends on how well they play, why waste time going to school?
