I agree with the article's contention Toledo will make the MAC championship game. The Rockets always recruit well and could have the MAC's deepest roster.
Eastern Michigan had an interesting off-season in the transfer portal. The Eagles return nine starters on offense, so they should still be a pretty good team. The Eagles were 51st in total offense in 2022.
Buffalo had the MAC's top-rated recruiting class last year. The Bulls only return 3 starters on offense and 6 on defense. This game should be a pretty good indicator on the progress the UMass defense makes this year. Buffalo went 4-8 in 2021.
