Vladimir Ducasse was named UMass Co-Senior Athlete-of-the-Year yesterday.

The NCAA considered inviting the FCS National Champion to fill out the 70 Bowl slots that will be needed next year. The idea did not fly because the FCS team "would not have time to prepare for the bowl". Not to mention a bowl game would be the 16th game of the season for a team with only 63 scholarships.
