Now that UMass is starting spring practice, how about adding some plays from the Wildcat offense for Octavious Hawkins? He's a big strong kid and he would be threat to run and throw. Villanova used the occasional Wildcat formation to great effect in last year's National Championship game.

It would certainly add another thing to think about when UMass' opponents face our Pro Set Offense.

Off topic, but interesting, is Boston College's firing of Al Skinner. The Blog had a couple of classes with Skinner back in the day. You have to wonder what BC athletic director Gene DeFilippo wants in a coach. Skinner took the Eagles to eight post season sessions in thirteen years...
