Joining the Minutemen this spring will be Warren Wilson a 6-1 180 pd WR transfer from Boston College. He is a local kid from Lawrence, MA and spent a year at New Hampton Prep.
An article about his transferring is here .
His BC Eagles bio page is here .
Wilson was a Rivals three star player in prep school. His Rivals page (with video links) is here .
He was rated the seventh ranked player in New England ahead of some names you will recognize if you follow New England football. Wilson drew lots of BCS interest from Illinois, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Penn State, Perdue, Vandy and Wisconsin.
Welcome to UMass Warren! Hope you have a great career with the Maroon & White!

How many new recuits does that make and how many kids are comming back?
Receiving corp looks promising, albeit inexperienced. With Horne, Wilson, Bailey, Esolami, Cruz, Tallley, and Fears, et al, I'm excited about the passing game.
I noticed his time in the 40 as 4.4. That is an exceptional time for the FCS level. If he has good hands he should be exciting to watch, a difference maker.
a. We are still at 16 recruits. We have two triple star recruits waiting one probable (McBride) and one possible (Davis)
B. Yes we seem to have quite a stable of receivers. Horne should start. I want to see Fears, Esolami, Talley and Wilson in the Spring game.
Who will likely serve as back up to Jorgensen? Silver or Gatek?
Don't know if anyone here heard it but a great line by Coach Brown at halftime of Sunday's BB game where they honored this past year's FB team. "Here at Umass we don't rebuild we RELOAD!"
Whether or not UMass "reloads" remains to be seen. With the likes of JMU, Delaware, and Richmond along with Texas Tech, New Hamshire, and Hostra on the menue this coming season "reloading" may mean going 8 and 4? Also, the Minutemen again visit Roddy who beat them last year at Rhode Island.
